Install the eKEY Application

Internet access and a data plan are required to use the application.  Choose your smartphone or tablet Operating System (OS) listed and follow the steps to install the eKEY Application: 

Android­™ OS
​You can install the eKEY software application for Android smartphones and tablets using Google PlayTM​. 
Download the eKEY application:
  1. ​On your Android device, select either the Market, Google Play, or Play Store icon.
  2. Select Search and search for Supra eKEY.
  3. Select the Supra eKEY application.
  4. Select INSTALL.
  5. Select OK.

When the software is installed, the eKEY icon is shown on your list of applications.

Demo mode is available for customers who have not yet subscribed to eKEY service.  Demo mode allows you to view the eKEY software but you cannot interact with keyboxes.

Your eKEY must be authorized before it can be used outside of Demo Mode.  You will need your 30-digit authorization code.  

Authorize the eKEY software:

  1. Select the eKEY icon to open the application.
  2. Select Activate eKEY.
  3. ​Follow the onscreen prompts to enter your 30-digit authorization code.
  4. Select Authorize.

Your device will automatically authorize and update the eKEY to access Supra electronic keyboxes. You may check the Help & How-To page about Authorizing your eKEY Software.

 

Apple iOS ​You can install the ​​eKEY software application for iPhone or iPad using the App Store.
Download the eKEY application:
  1. On your iPhone or iPad, select the App Store icon.
  2. Select Search and search for Supra eKEY.
  3. Select the Supra eKEY application.
  4. Select the FREE button and then select INSTALL.

When the software is installed, the eKEY icon is shown in your list of applications.

BlackBerry® OS: ​You can install the eKEY software application for BlackBerry using the BlackBerry App World​ for devices with OS 5 and newer (BlackBerry 10 is not supported at this time).
Download the eKEY application:​
  1. ​On your BlackBerry device, select the App World.
  2. Search for Supra eKEY.
  3. Download and install the Supra eKEY application.
  4. If the application asks to confirm permission changes, press the Menu button and then Save.  
The eKEY icon will show up in your list of applications.

  1. Launch the eKEY application by selecting the eKEY icon.
  2. Select Activate eKEY.
  3. Following the onscreen prompts, enter your 30-digit authorization code.
  4. Select Authorize.

Important:  If your BlackBerry OS is earlier than 4.5, follow these steps to install the eKEY application by navigating to www.ekeymobile.com:

  1. Using the browser on your BlackBerry device, navigate to www.ekeymobile.com.  
  2. If you see a screen called  Authorize eKEY, click the Next button. ​​​Select BlackBerry eKEY on the Supra eKEY  download page. Check the box next to Set application permissions and then select Download.
  3. If you see a screen called Application eKEY already exists, select YES to replace with the new version. If you replace an older version, you will see a message Device must be rebooted to complete install.  Select REBOOT.
  4. If you did not replace an older version of the eKEY, and you do not have to reboot, you will see the following message: The application was successfully installed.  
  5. Select RUN.
​When the software is installed, the eKEY icon is shown on your list of applications.
