DisplayKEY is Expired

If your DisplayKEY has expired, you can perform a manual eSYNC or obtain an update code from KIM Voice and enter it into your DisplayKEY to update it.

Perform a Manual eSYNC

Note: If you are updating on a USB cradle, the software must already be installed on the computer before attempting eSYNC.

  1. With the key out of the cradle, press Enter then press Down Arrow several times to scroll down to Manual eSYNC .
  2. Press Enter and when you see Place Key in Cradle, place the DisplayKEY into the cradle.
  3. The cradle light will turn red. Leave the key in the cradle until the light turns steady green, the DisplayKEY shows updated, or an error code is displayed.

Obtain an Update Code from KIM Voice

If you are unable to update via your Cradle, you can obtain an Update Code from KIM Voice.

Note: If you need to get an update code from KIM Voice for a cooperating Association/MLS, you must always update for your primary Association/MLS first, then for your cooperating Association/MLS, even if you are not going to be working in your primary Association//MLS area that day.
  1. For an update through KIM Voice: call 1.888.968.4032
  2. When you hear 'Hello This is KIM', input your DisplayKEY serial number and the 4 digit PIN code that you use to open keyboxes.
  3. Follow the prompts for an update code.

Enter an Update Code into your DisplayKEY

  1. Press Enter to turn the DisplayKEY on, then press Down Arrow several times until you see 'Input Update or CBS', then press Enter.
  2. Input the update code, then press Enter.
